PATNA: Slippers and stones were pelted at Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha's convoy. The attack happened during the first phase of voting for the Bihar assembly elections in his constituency Lakhisarai. A mob blocked his convoy this afternoon, pelted stones and shoes and shouted slogans.

Sinha alleged that RJD goons are behind the attack. The attack happened when he came to visit the polling booths on the polling day. Meanwhile, the police said that it was a protest by the locals. The police also said that the situation is presently under control.

The police also denied the allegation that the RJD threatened BJP's polling agents. Meantime, he said the NDA government will come back to power in Bihar and that they will drive a bulldozer through their chests. Sinha alleged that
