CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is among 40 airports cutting 10% of flights daily if no deal is reached to end the government shutdown, according to multiple media reports.

The Federal Aviation Administration will start restricting flights Friday morning, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced Wednesday.

CVG officials aren’t commenting yet.

United Airlines released a statement Wednesday saying it will notify customers in advance if their flights are impacted through its app, email and push notifications.
