The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory at 3:03 a.m. on Thursday valid between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. for South Central Oregon Coast.
The weather service says, "Minor coastal flooding expected."
"Low-lying roadways may be closed. Low-lying property, and some critical infrastructure may be inundated. Some shoreline erosion may occur," describes the weather service. "If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Stay away from the surf zone and off of jetties. Area beaches may become hazardous due to dangerous surf conditions."
