MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX) - Firefighters are working to contain a house fire that broke out early Thursday morning in Meridian Township.

The blaze was reported around 4:30 a.m. on the 1900 block of Yuma Trail. Crews from Consumers Energy also responded to assist at the scene.

At this time, it is unclear what caused the fire or whether anyone is injured.
