ACC NOTEBOOK Georgia Tech's loss puts Virginia in control of ACC

The up-and-down nature of the Atlantic Coast Conference got even more turbulent last week with frontrunners Georgia Tech and Miami losing. Those losses put Virginia — whose lone loss is to an ACC team but not in a "conference" game — in the driver's seat.

The race to Charlotte will be crazy over the final few weeks with one unbeaten team and five one-loss teams in conference play.
