TRAVERSE CITY: Mayor wins re-election, three to join commission

TRAVERSE CITY — Amy Shamroe will keep her seat as Traverse City mayor, and three new commissioners will join the board.

Voters gave Shamroe the nod over challenger and longest-serving city commissioner Tim Werner, 2,472-2,303, according to unofficial vote tallies.
