New Delhi, Nov 06: India has recently completed two significant rounds of trade negotiations with Peru and Chile, emphasizing its dedication to enhancing economic cooperation in Latin America.

The ninth round of the India-Peru Trade Agreement took place in Lima, resulting in substantial progress on various chapters, including Trade in Goods and Services and Critical Minerals.

Peru’s Foreign Trade Minister endorsed the negotiations, while India’s Ambassador highlighted opportunities in sectors like pharmaceuticals and textiles.

Concurrently, the third round of the India-Chile Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) discussions took place in Santiago, addressing issues like Investment Promotion and Intellectual Property Rights.
