Philadelphia has a 6-2 record despite having major issues covering wide receivers opposite of star cornerback Quinyon Mitchell. Kelee Ringo and Adoree’ Jackson have both struggled as starters, hurting an Eagles secondary that ranks 17th in passing yards allowed (215.9 per game).
Ringo has allowed 11 catches on 19 targets for 172 yards, according to Pro Football Focus. He has been unable to overcome inconsistent technique.
Jackson has surrendered 17 catches for 201 yards. He is a poor tackler and gives up big plays in coverage.
Based on their performance, neither player appears to be a reliable starter moving forward.
