Vote counting for the 2025 Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union elections is nearing its conclusion. The competition between the Left and ABVP remains tight, with the Left leading in all seats.
Aditi Mishra from the Left Alliance is leading the race for president in the 2025 JNU Students’ Union elections. The Left Alliance is campaigning to maintain an “inclusive, accessible, and democratic JNU," while ABVP focuses on “protest and nationalism."
This year, voter turnout was recorded at 67%, which is, slightly lower compared to last year when the voter turnout was 70%.
