An investigation has revealed that a Bangladeshi woman, now arrested by the Pimpri Chinchwad police for illegally residing in India, was deported to her country just three months ago by the Mumbai Police.

Police said that even after her deportation, the woman, identified as Fatima Amjad Akhtar (35), came back to India last month by illegally crossing the international border between India and Bangladesh at West Bengal.

Currently residing in Bhosari in Pimpri Chinchwad, Fatima was found with two Aadhaar cards in two different names in India, which she is suspected to have procured with the help of agents in Pune , police said.
