BRANDON, Florida — Two families who didn't know each other welcomed baby boys with the same name, minutes apart at a hospital in Hillsborough County.
Miles and Myles may have different parents, hometowns and were born in different rooms, but they share a special story. The two were born 11 minutes apart on Oct. 27 at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital.
Myles Retzer of Riverview was born first at 12:43 p.m., weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measuring 20 inches long. After, Miles Bartz of Plant City was born at 12:54 p.m., weighing 4 pounds, 11 ounces and measuring 18.5 inches.
Before being discharged, the families were able to meet and take a photo together.
