BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — “In December of 2023, I was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer,” says Chelsey Kralicek.
Chelsey has always been active. Growing up, she played sports and later found a passion for CrossFit.
For many, a cancer diagnosis might mean stepping away from physical activity—but not for Chelsey.
“I knew things were going to change. I knew my life was going to look very different,” she says. “But I also knew I needed to stay consistent with two things: my faith and moving my body.”
Despite the challenges, Chelsey saw this new chapter as an opportunity to adapt—not to stop.
“Life isn’t over,” she explains. “It might change and look a little different, but that’s just another chapter.”
She found support and guidance from Chris Padilla, Head Coach and Owner of Big Mud
