The director of public affairs at Arkansas PBS was arrested this week after a sheriff’s deputy reported finding suspected methamphetamine in his car during a traffic stop.

Michael Hibblen, 54, of Little Rock faces a felony charge of possession of less than two grams of a schedule I or II controlled substance in connection with the traffic stop on Monday night in North Little Rock, according to a report from the Pulaski County sheriff’s office.

Hibblen was pulled over by the deputy about 10:20 p.m. while driving a blue Honda Civic at 80 mph in a 60 mph zone on Interstate 40, the report says.
