The path for Babcock & Wilcox to benefit from the booming demand for data centers is becoming clearer with a newly announced $1.5 billion contract.
The deal to design and install power plants for Dallas-based data center developer Applied Digital — combined with several other financial decisions — has helped B&W to stabilize after tumbling into penny stock territory earlier this year and receiving a warning notice from the New York Stock Exchange that has since been rescinded.
