Police have arrested three people after a 'fraudulent' fundraising page and event was launched for a popular and promising footballer who sadly died earlier this year.

Jaycee Roberts tragically died on March 31 after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of skin cancer in October 2022.

The 25-year-old was a popular member of the local community, played for Bradwell FC in Staffordshire and was offered a scholarship to play in California before serious injury prevented him going.
