Seventeen-year-old Sunny Subhash Fulmali from Lohegaon, Pune, has turned his life’s struggles into an inspiring success story. Living in a tent house with his parents and siblings, Sunny’s journey from poverty to the top of the Asian Youth Wrestling Championship podium in Bahrain is a tale of unshakable determination and relentless willpower.

Rising from Poverty to Pursue a Dream

Born into a family with limited means, Sunny’s father earns a living with a bull, while his mother sells needles and thread on the streets. Despite their hardships, Sunny never gave up on his dream. Originally from Beed, the family moved to Pune 15 years ago, building a small tent on the outskirts of Lohegaon. It was there, on a makeshift mud pit, that Sunny’s wrestling journey began.
