Two people suspected of stealing $10,000 in high-end lighters from “The Cave” on El Camino Real in San Mateo were arrested after an unrelated traffic stop in Half Moon Bay, according to police.
At about 4:54 p.m. Oct. 21, police were called to the location on the 2400 block of South El Camino Real on the report of a burglary. It was reported that a man and a woman walked into the store. The woman, later identified as Kiersten Kinser, 33, of San Francisco, allegedly distracted a store employee, while the man, identified as Dustin Becker, 40, of El Granada, took and concealed the lighters, then they both left.
