A 46-year-old man who was hit and killed in a Sacramento crash on Sunday evening has been identified as Bee Lao.
Sacramento police said officers responded to the area of Del Paso Boulevard and Marysville Boulevard just before 6:30 p.m., where they located a pedestrian down in the roadway.
The driver involved in the crash stayed at the scene, police said.
Lao's family described him as a father of a 2-year-old son and four daughters who range in age from 5 to 14 years old. In a GoFundMe to raise money for funeral and living expenses, his wife described him as a "loving person who was always welcoming to everyone."
