KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Suffrage Coalition is making a "major announcement" about the future home of the Women's Suffrage Museum in Knoxville on Thursday.

The organization said that the museum will be stationed in a 20,000+ sq. ft. building, cementing the museum as a "cultural landmark celebrating Tennessee's role in securing women's right to vote."

The museum's location will be on South Gay Street between the Bijou Theatre and the Tennessee Theatre in downtown Knoxville. Organizers said they closed on the building Wednesday and they're working to buy the building next door.
