About two months after a TSA employee was killed in a hit-and-run , a woman has been arrested for the crime, Texas authorities say.

Vivian Padilla, 19, has been charged with collision involving death, El Paso officials announced this week. The fatal crash occurred in the early morning hours on Sept. 7.

David O'Connor, 52, was riding on an electric-assisted bicycle at about 1:30 a.m. when a 2017 Kia Soul crashed into him from behind, according to city officials. The driver of the vehicle did not stop to check on the man following the impact, instead electing to drive away.
