NEW DELHI: Two people were killed and three others seriously injured after being hit by a suburban train near Sandhurst Road railway station in south Mumbai on Thursday evening, police said. The incident occurred around 7 pm, shortly after train services on the Central Railway were disrupted due to a flash strike by employees’ unions protesting an FIR against two engineers in the June 9 Mumbra accident case, officials told news agency PTI.
