Srinagar, Nov 06: Blaming former Congress regimes for Kashmir remaining in a mess for three-decades, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said that PM Modi led dispensation crushed terrorists and their masters with an iron fist.

Addressing a public rally at Madhubani, Shah, according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said, “Erstwhile Congress governments were responsible for the rise of terrorism in Kashmir. They didn’t take the issue seriously but the present regime has crushed terrorism and its roots.”

He said, “During the tenure of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh no action was taken against terrorists who infiltrated into India and previous governments treated such elements leniently.”
