The NFL community is in mourning following the shocking news of Marshawn Kneeland’s passing on Thursday morning.

The defensive end, who scored his first career touchdown just three days ago, has sadly passed away under tragic circumstances, according to the team’s official website.

“It is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning,” a statement from the Cowboys reads. “Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family.”
