Agartala, 6 th November 2025: A month-long comprehensive training programme on Natural Farming for registered farmers of West Tripura district concluded on November 4, marking a significant step toward promoting sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural practices in the region.

The training was organized by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), West Tripura, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, under the National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF) scheme. The initiative, which commenced on October 14, 2025, covered all seven agricultural subdivisions of the district- Mohanpur, Old Agartala, Dukli, Bamutia, Mandai, Belbari and Jirania, and successfully trained more than 1,000 registered natural farmers.
