The Karnataka High Court has dismissed the state government's petition challenging the order of the High Court's single bench.
The single judge bench had stayed the state government's order, which banned RSS shakhas in public places and activities of private organisations without permission. The state government had filed a petition against this decision.
The bench of Justice SG Pandit and Geeta KB directed the government to approach the same single judge to get the stay on the government's decision lifted.
The Dharwad bench of the Karnataka High Court on October 28 stayed the state government's order, which prohibited RSS shakhas in government places without permission and gathering of more than 10 people.
