Hyderabad, Nov 6: To mark the 150th anniversary of India’s national song, the Telangana government has called for a synchronized mass rendition of the full version of ‘Vande Mataram’ across all government offices and educational institutions on Friday. Chief secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao instructed District Collectors on Thursday to ensure participation in this historic commemoration.

November 7, the date of the song’s creation by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, will witness simultaneous performances at 10 a.m. in Collectorates, government offices, and educational establishments, including government, local body, aided, and recognised private institutions.
