Forensics taped off a street in Rochdale after a teenage boy was stabbed in a horror attack on Bonfire Night.

Police, forensics, and CSI teams raced to the scene on Bernard Street and Chatsworth Street at around 7pm to reports of a disturbance.

A 17-year-old boy was found with injuries that police said were consistent with a stabbing. He was rushed to hospital from the scene of the incident.

Emergency services remained in attendance conducting investigations for a number of hours. No arrests have been made in connection with the attack.
