For the first time ever, the annual Symphony Splendor Holiday House Tour is taking its gilded decorations north of Pittsburgh.

Benefitting the Pittsburgh Symphony Association, this year’s tour — which is co-chaired by Ruth Ann Pritchard and Sue Breedlove — will feature five palatial homes decked out for the holidays in Pine’s exclusive Lake MacLeod neighborhood.

While last year’s “Christmas on Broadway”-themed tour took place in Shadyside, the event, now in its 11th year, has also been held in Mt. Lebanon and Upper St. Clair. Because this year’s co-chairs both live in the North Hills, they suggested hosting the tour there for 2025.
