New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is among the very best in the business.
The Ringer’s Steven Ruiz seems to think so, anyway.
Ruiz released an updated version of his quarterback rankings on Thursday, which saw the second-year quarterback make a major jump from his initial ranking of No. 18 in Week 1 to No. 8 in Week 10.
“Maye is a star. While there’s still plenty of room for growth in the 23-year-old QB’s game, there are no real holes in it,” Ruiz wrote. “Any questions about his unorthodox mechanics have been answered, as he’s already established himself as one of the most reliably accurate quarterbacks in the NFL.”
