Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Baramulla Gurinderpal Singh said the application has been introduced as a pilot project to enhance protection and communication for those facing potential security threats.
“This initiative is focused on individuals and groups who are most vulnerable — including minority communities, migrant laborers, and protected or non-political persons. Around 6,000 people have already been enrolled, and we expect the number to reach between 7,000 and 8,000 soon,” the SSP said.
