SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Krue Events in Shreveport is providing free meals to individuals impacted by the government shutdown.
To help those in need, the restaurants will provide meals to furloughed government employees, air traffic controllers, troops, veterans, and individuals experiencing delayed benefits.
The restaurant noted that they will do their best to serve everyone on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also help by donating water, prepackaged silverware, or making monetary donations, which can be dropped off or sent directly to the restaurant.
KRUE Events will provide meals on November 6, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
