LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Governor Sanders announced the new Arkansas Plate Initiative, a statewide program connecting schools with local producers.
The initiative aims to provide students with nutritious, locally sourced meals made from Arkansas-grown products.
This is part of Sanders' ongoing efforts to improve health across the state of Arkansas, including applying for funding to improve healthcare and the 'Bell to Bell, No Cell' law.
