When Kishor Nepal was looking for his next business venture in the Niagara region, a site in St. Catharines checked all the boxes.
At 930 square metres, the space in a strip mall at 495 Welland Ave. is large enough for an Italian restaurant and a banquet hall, including a separate room for the bride at weddings, with enough room left over to serve as a small conference centre.
Ample parking was also on the wish list for the Thorold entrepreneur when he founded the concept for Teatro, which, according to its vision statement, seeks to become “Niagara’s premier destination for Italian dining, wine and celebration — a place where good, drink and atmosphere come together with elegance and authenticity.”
