It’s time to honour Canadians who served — and some who died — for their country.
While most area Remembrance Day ceremonies take place on Tuesday, Nov. 11, there are some taking place earlier, including in Port Dalhousie, Welland and Jordan.
The Niagara Falls community gathered last Sunday at Chippawa Willoughby Memorial Arena for the village’s annual ceremony.
Here is the list of ceremonies taking place across Niagara.
Fort Erie
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 71 will hold a ceremony Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at 130 Garrison Rd .
Legion Branch 230’s ceremony takes place Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Ridgeway Cemetery cenotaph, 3900 Farr Ave. Another ceremony takes place at 2 p.m. at Stevensville Memorial Hall, 2508 Stevensville Rd .
Grimsby
Legion Branch 127 will hold a ceremony Nov. 11
