STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Mighty String Demons, a youth violin ensemble , will present a free Gratitude Concert featuring classical and folk music on Sunday, Nov. 16, at the Unitarian Church of Staten Island.

Led by Sanchie Bobrow, the family-friendly performance begins at 3 p.m. at the church, located at 312 Fillmore St. in New Brighton.

The concert program includes poetry readings and a community gratitude-sharing moment alongside musical performances. Special guest artists will join the young violinists, including Marc Horowitz on banjo, Wenyi Lo on piano, and Kazuo Nakamura on double bass.

Attendees will also learn about the history of the banjo in American folk and bluegrass traditions as part of the presentation.

The event is free and audience members of all ages are welcome. F
