INDIANAPOLIS -- A portion of I-465 on the south side of Indianapolis is closed after officials said a crash occurred and a pedestrian was reportedly struck.
According to officials from the Indiana Department of Transportation, officials responded to the crash, which occurred around 1:20 p.m. on Thursday near the 52nd mile-marker on I-465 westbound in Marion County.
This is on the south side of Indianapolis near the intersection of I-465 and I-65.
INDOT officials said that the crash caused multiple left lanes to be closed and the right two lanes to be closed. As of this story's publication, the center lane remains open.
As of 1:36 p.m., INDOT officials said the left lanes are now open. The right lanes remain closed. Officials did not give a duration for how long the closure will be.
