MARTINSBURG - The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department welcomed three new members this week as two full-time deputies and one reserve officer took their oaths to serve and protect the community.

The ceremony marked a milestone for new Deputies Calub Atkinson and Jackson Martin, as well as Kaleb Canelario-Fuentes, who joined the department’s volunteer reserve program. The group was sworn in before Sheriff Rob Blair and members of the department’s command staff.
