Cornwall Coun. Todd Bennett was sworn in as the newest member of the Cornwall police service board on Thursday.
Bennett joins the board following the departure of Coun. Maurice Dupelle, who failed to complete mandatory training in 2024 and was found to be ineligible to serve on the board earlier this year.
Bennett joins Mayor Justin Towndale as representatives from the City of Cornwall.
The other members of the board provincial appointees Amanda Brisson and Patrick Dussault (who are chair, and vice-chair, respectively), and community rep Marc Lafleur.
