Every single New Jersey county shifted towards Democrats in the 2025 governor’s race, just one year after a shift right in the 2024 presidential election, the latest voting data shows.

Democrat Mikie Sherrill , a 53-year-old congresswoman from New Jersey’s 11th district, decisively won the race for New Jersey governor, taking home more than 52% of the vote.
