KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. — An 18-year-old died after losing control of his car, rolling over and striking a barrier at the Snoqualmie Pass summit.

According to the Washington State Patrol, around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, a truck driven by 18-year-old Conner Nugent was traveling west on I-90 near the Snoqualmie Pass summit when he lost control. The truck rolled over and struck a barrier.

Troopers said another car traveling west on I-90 then hit Nugent’s truck.

WSP said Nugent was not wearing a seat belt. The crash remains under investigation.
