Jay Timmons — rated as a consensus four-star prospect by various recruiting outlets and Rivals’ No. 15 overall cornerback in the senior class — has yet again flipped his commitment.

The Pine-Richland standout cornerback/receiver on June 24 announced his commitment to Florida State, where his father and former Steeler Lawrence Timmons played his college ball. But on Thursday afternoon, On3/Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett reported Jay Timmons flipped his commitment to Ohio State.

The decision comes less than a week after Timmons took an official visit to Columbus and Ohio State beat Penn State 38-14.
