ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4/Gray News) - St. Louis Lambert International Airport has released a statement ahead of flight reductions in response to the government shutdown.
Earlier on Friday, the Federal Aviation Administration announced the 40 “high-volume markets ” where it is reducing flights by 10 percent . The cuts go into effect on Friday.
According to the Associated Press, the FAA said the move is to keep airspace safe during the shutdown.
Friday afternoon, St. Louis Lambert International Airport released the following statement:
“Currently, St. Louis Lambert International Airport is not found on the Federal Aviation Administration’s list of impacted airports in regards to the planned cuts in air traffic capacity. However, we want to remind our passengers to keep apprised
