Jyteek Christie was in a brawl with another man last weekend in York when a 20-year-old man interrupted the fight and fatally shot him, police said.
Jordan Frey, of York, was charged with criminal homicide and carrying a concealed gun without a license, according to court documents filed by York police.
Police said Frey killed Christie, 23, around 2:30 a.m. Nov. 1 in front of Christie’s home in the 200 block of West Jackson Street.
An affidavit of probable cause written by police gave this account: Christie was fighting another man when a group of onlookers encircled them, with many people trying to break up the fight.
