PHILADELPHIA — If Eagles fans were worried about Saquon Barkley ’s injury status for Monday’s game against the Packers, fear not.
Barkley was on the practice field on Thursday at the NovaCare Complex, which is a good sign for the star running back’s status for “Monday Night Football.”
Barkley suffered a groin injury in the second half of the Eagles’ 38-20 win over the Giants on Oct. 26 at Lincoln Financial Field. Barkley did not return to action after sustaining the injury.
Barkley, who had his breakout performance of the season (150 yards, TD), pulled up with a limp after a 28-yard run on the last play of the third quarter. He spoke to the training staff, was evaluated in the blue medical tent and watched the rest of the game from the sideline.
