YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - There is a new hire in Mahoning County.
County Commissioners agreed Thursday morning to appoint a new building supervisor. Officials said that is the title given to the employee who oversees maintenance in the County Justice Center.
The current supervisor will be retiring soon, and the new hire will be his replacement.
"They supervise all the maintenance that goes on throughout the jail. They're in charge of all the projects at the jail. They're really the person manning that building," said Mahoning County Facilities Director Alan Landfried.
Commissioners said the new hire will work with the current supervisor so he can take over after he retires.
