Long Beach will host a free art and music festival on Saturday, Nov. 8, during which community members can experience interactive art, live music, creative workshops and more.
The event, called “Community Values Art, Art Values Community,” will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Museum of Latin American Art, 628 Alamitos Ave, and will strive to bring people together for a day of fostering connection and building community.
“Here in Long Beach, we have a rich history in arts and culture,” Mayor Rex Richardson said in a statement, “and we are committed to making that art more accessible to the community.”
Hosted by the Long Beach Office of Climate Action and Sustainability, in partnership with the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine, the event is part of the city’s Neighbor-to-Neig
