SEEKONK, Mass. (WPRI) — First responders are at the scene of a crash between a motorcycle and an SUV in Seekonk.

The crash happened Thursday afternoon on Fall River Avenue, at the intersection by McDonald's.

Seekonk's fire chief tells 12 News the "young male operator" of the motorcycle was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.

The occupants of the SUV were not hurt, according to the chief.

The roadway is currently closed.
