Maricopa County prosecutors have filed new felony charges against Laura Owens, the Arizona woman who made national headlines after falsely claiming she was pregnant with “Bachelor” star Clayton Echard’s twins.

On Nov. 6, prosecutors accused Owens, 35, of making similar false pregnancy claims involving another man from a 2021 relationship.

She faces one count of perjury, one count of fraudulent schemes, two counts of taking the identity of another, two counts of forgery, and one count of theft by extortion in the 2021 case.
