TRENTON, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Crews are on the scene of a house explosion on Airport Road in Edgefield County.

A witness told News 12 that a home exploded around 4 p.m. Thursday, and it was so loud she thought her home was hit.

She says the home is “completely gone.”

According to the witness, two people live in the home.

Earlier, in Aiken County, a dead body was found in a house fire in Monetta, according to authorities.
