A Topeka, Kansas, man will spend 25 years behind bars for using an artificial intelligence platform to create child sexual abuse material and other explicit images.

Jeremy Weber, 47, was sentenced for five counts of transportation of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced Thursday.
Weber reportedly uploaded photos of women and children he knew into a publicly available AI platform and used the site to manipulate their photos into "hundreds of depictions" of child sexual abuse material.
He also reportedly uploaded previously trafficked child sexual abuse material into the same platform, morphing those into new images as well.
